Years with PMI-CCVC: 4 Years

I obtained my Masters in Healthcare Administration and jumped right into being a Technical Project Manager with a local MCO. This required me to learn how to operate in a fast-moving environment, understand technology while building upon the Project Management methodology within the organization. I continued to move up the Project Management ladder by learning the ins and outs of an MCO, integrating agile Project Management methodologies, and showcasing how valuable a PMO is to an organization. Later I assisted in creating an overarching PMO at the same MCO which is currently thriving and constantly changing along with PMI.

PMI provides a great network of knowledge for all stages and professions involved in Project Management via webinars, articles and chapter meetings. Their ability to constantly provide new information with an ease of a click and promote the growth of project management across the world is inspiring. I’m constantly learning new innovative ways of conducting everyday Project Management functions which has been very helpful in this ever-changing world.

Fun Fact

I find calmness in chaos I’m passionate about.
