Jerry has over 20 years of project management experience in the medical device manufacturing and healthcare information technology industries. He has been a member of Project Management Institute for over 15 years and received his PMP certification in January 2010. Jerry earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics with a Computer Science Concentration from the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the US Navy during Operation Desert Storm.
His a founding member of the California Central Valley Chapter(CCVC) Chapter of PMI and has been involved since it's establishment ast the Central Valley Forum in August of 2008 where he was the Outreach Director. Jerry helped establish the Academic Forum operated on University Campuses throughout the Central Valley like California State University, Fresno. In addition to his Unversity Academic Outreach duties, Jerry serves the Chapter as a volunteer PMP/CAPM Exam Instructor.
He is currently employed at Community Medical Centers in Fresno, CA in the Corporate IS Department, EHR Support Services Group as a Project Manager. His primary focus is to manage projects focused on managing the delivery and availability of clinical documentation, data, and imaging across the continuum of patient care for a network of four hospitals, two Imaging Centers, and the Cancer Care Institute.
