April '22 Remote Chapter Meeting: HOW TO USE THE LANGUAGE OF METRICS

Dean Kashiwagi 8sHOW TO USE THE LANGUAGE OF METRICS
Why are performance metrics critical for PMs? Metrics create transparency, accountability, and efficiency because they relay information in a way that everyone can understand. In the information age, we’re surrounded by data—it has never been more important to differentiate between valuable info and noise. The problem is that most people don’t understand how to use information effectively. Information overload causes overthinking, too many decisions, and creates confusion within an organization. After researching project management in over 2,000+ test-projects, Dr. Dean has found the secret to increasing productivity of departments tenfold.
In this session the Dr. Dean will share the latest, groundbreaking research in project management. Attendees will learn to speak the language of metrics to simplify project information so all stakeholders can understand the value procurement and project management.

Learning Objectives:
▪ Learn how to use performance metrics to ensure buy-in at all levels of an organization.
▪ Learn how to increase productivity by 10X
▪ Learn how to efficiently display information
▪ Learn how to mitigate risk and change orders on projects
▪ Learn how to create transparency on projects
