A Year of Unexpected Solutions | PDD August 26, 2021
The COVID-19 Pandemic has made the past year one of the toughest healthcare crises our country and world has had to endure. When we began the Stay at Home order over a year ago, many of our organizations weren’t prepared for the dramatic shift in work environment for their workforce. Every aspect of our lives, our economy, our environments was to change without notice, and instantaneously. It was within these sudden moments of change that brought creative solutions and innovation. Our hospitals shifted to quickly taking on thousands of sick individuals. IT departments quickly stepped up to the challenge and got everyone equipped with a work from home that permitted them to be outside the typical work setting. Our transportation industry took on record increases in shipments to provide supplies to the American people often directly to their homes as many stores closed or limited access. Our agricultural industry worked with fewer personnel and supplies available, while staff quickly learned what was needed to continue working with their teams and run businesses.
