In today's fast-paced and complex project environments, the role of Project Controllers and the implementation of robust Project Controls are more critical than ever. Join us for an insightful event where we delve into the essential functions of Project Controllers, who are pivotal in tracking and managing project performance against budgets, plans, and schedules. Drawing from over a decade of experience in project planning, controls, and coordination, Jaylene Rocha will share real-world examples of successful project controls and how she has supported project managers throughout her career to ensure optimized project performance from initiation to closeout, delivering solutions that drive successful execution across complex projects.

Jaylene Rocha
Project Controller, Carbon TerraVault
Jaylene Rocha is the Project Controller for Carbon TerraVault (CTV) Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of California Resources Corporation (CRC), an independent energy and carbon management company committed to energy transition. She has over a decade of project management and project controls expertise with the last nine years concentrated on projects in the energy sector. In her current role, Jaylene supports the planning, coordination, and implementation for project development of Carbon TerraVault’s portfolio of projects.
Jaylene is also PMI CCVC’s VP of Membership and Bakersfield Director. She is passionate about fostering the growth and professional development of project managers in the Central Valley. Jaylene is passionate for member engagement and ensuring the needs of the chapter are being met and the voices are being heard. She holds a Project Management Certificate through the CSU Bakersfield Extended University and an Associate of Arts degree in English from Bakersfield College.
