Presentation Description:
In fast-paced project environments, it’s not always the Gantt chart or the budget that drives success—it’s the ability to inspire consistent execution across contributors, especially those outside your formal chain of command. In this engaging book-study-style session, we’ll explore the core principles of The 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX) and how they apply directly to project managers navigating cross-functional teams and stakeholder alignment.
Join Dr. Mary Cochron, PMP, as she provides a high-level overview of 4DX, shares practical applications from her work as a freelance project manager, and offers strategies for increasing clarity, accountability, and motivation across diverse teams. You’ll walk away with a simple framework to refine team goals, engage contributors more effectively, and translate strategic intent into measurable wins—even without formal authority.
This session is designed for project professionals seeking to strengthen their Power Skills—especially collaborative leadership, purpose-driven execution, and influence without positional power.
Note: This session is not affiliated with or endorsed by FranklinCovey. Concepts discussed are inspired by the publicly available materials and individual professional experiences. Attendees interested in formal training are encouraged to visit franklincovey.com.
