2026 Annual Membership Meeting
Once a year, PMI-CCVC brings the whole chapter together — members, board, volunteers, and sponsors — for an evening of networking, chapter updates, and a vote on where we're headed next. Whether you hold a PMP, you're working toward one, or you're just discovering project management as a profession, this meeting is for you.
Event Details
- Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026
- Time: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM (doors open at 5:30 PM; appetizers at 5:50 PM)

- Format: Hybrid — join us in person for the mixer and dinner, or attend the meeting portion via Zoom (Zoom session opens at 6:00 PM)
- Cost: Free to attend
What to Expect
5:30 PM — Membership Mixer (in-person only) Doors open, appetizers are served, and you'll have time to connect with fellow PMs from Bakersfield and Fresno/Clovis before the program starts.
6:00 PM — Zoom Session Opens Virtual attendees join in and get settled before the welcome.
6:20 PM — Welcome from the President and Board
6:30 PM — Icebreaker led by Jerry Dickerson

- Chapter milestones: Professional Development expansion (Mentorship Program, Business Value Accelerator course, PMP Study Group, and more), membership reach across the Central Valley, a new membership model, and updated bylaws

- Upcoming events and volunteer opportunities
- Open forum / Q&A, time permitting

Why Attend
This is the one night a year where the full chapter comes together in one room (and on one Zoom call). You'll hear directly from chapter leadership on what's changed this year, have a say in the bylaws that govern PMI-CCVC, meet the volunteers and sponsors behind the chapter's programs, and find out how to get more involved — whether that's mentorship, a study group, or a seat on a committee.

- Where is the meeting being held? Location is being finalized and will be posted here and emailed to members as soon as it's confirmed.
- Do I have to attend in person to vote on the bylaws? No — all members can vote on the bylaws, whether you're joining in person or via Zoom.
- Is there a cost to attend? No, this meeting is free to attend.
- Do I need to be PMP-certified to come? Not at all — this meeting, and PMI-CCVC membership generally, is open to anyone interested in project management, certified or not.
- I can only join by Zoom — what will I miss? The mixer, appetizers, and post-meeting social networking are in-person only, but the full business meeting (welcome, icebreaker, milestones, bylaws vote, Q&A) is available on Zoom
