Program Overview
The PMI-CCVC Mentorship Program is an eight-week structured mentoring experience. Participants are matched based on professional interests, goals, experience, and development objectives.
Mentor-mentee pairs are encouraged to meet regularly throughout the program to discuss goals, challenges, career development, leadership skills, and other topics relevant to the mentee's growth.
The chapter provides support, resources, and check-in opportunities to help participants maximize the value of the mentoring relationship.
Program Timeline
June 25, 2026
Mentor and Mentee Applications Due
Complete and submit your application to be considered for participation in the 2026 program.
June 30, 2026 | 6:00 PM (Virtual)
Program Kickoff Meeting
Meet fellow participants, learn program expectations, receive mentoring resources, and begin your mentoring journey.
July 28, 2026
Mid-Program Check-In Survey
Participants will provide feedback on their mentoring experience and identify any support needed from the chapter.
September 1, 2026 | 6:00 PM (Virtual)
Closing Meeting and Participant Recognition
Celebrate program completion, share experiences, and recognize mentors and mentees for their participation.
September 1–8, 2026
Program Closing Survey
Participants will complete a final survey to provide feedback and help improve future mentoring programs.
Who Can Participate?
The program is open to PMI-CCVC members interested in professional growth and community engagement.
- Experienced project managers and leaders are encouraged to apply as mentors.
- Students, early-career professionals, aspiring project managers, and those seeking career growth are encouraged to apply as mentees.
Program Expectations
Participants are expected to:
- Attend the virtual kickoff meeting.
- Actively engage in the mentoring relationship throughout the eight-week program.
- Maintain professional and respectful communication.
- Complete program surveys and feedback requests.
- Attend the closing meeting whenever possible.
