Over these past 4 years, I have been involved in PMI-CCVC and as I look forward to the future, I am excited to see how PMI-CCVC continues to grow and make a difference in the Central Valley Project Management community.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with emphasis in Marketing and a Mass Communications and Journalism Certificate from California State University, Fresno.

Currently, I am a Senior Management Analyst for the City of Fresno managing and project controls for the Department of Public Utilities. As a leader, innovator, and communicator I bring more than 15 years of combined experience in leading and managing projects for non-profit, private, and governmental sectors. My skills, knowledge, and ability to plan, lead, and monitor have helped organizations in Health, Education, Finance, and Technology achieve strategic goals and implement organizational change

President-Elect Candidate

Description
Successor to the President; elected volunteer who oversees the planning and implementation of Chapter operations, leads the Operations Committee, and otherwise assists the President with his or her duties of managing the Chapter. Assumes the role of the Chapter President if the President is unable to perform duties for any reason

VP of Administration Candidate

Description
The Vice President of Administration is an elected volunteer responsible for preparing, maintaining, recording, and distributing, as appropriate, the records, correspondence, agendas, minutes, issue tracking sheets, and other non-financial documentation of Chapter and Board activities. This role helps ensure that Chapter records are organized, safeguarded, and available as needed, while supporting effective Board operations, member communications, annual meeting notices, printed materials coordination, and oversight of Chapter IT functions.
 
Duties
Safeguard approved bylaws, articles of incorporation, charter agreement, policies, committee charters, and other non-financial records Maintain Chapter activity management documents with the Board and Operations Committee Coordinate, prepare, and distribute agendas for Chapter and Board meetings Attend meetings, take accurate notes, and maintain meeting minutes for approval Prepare and distribute annual membership meeting notices to members Provide approved non-financial records to members or outside organizations as authorized Coordinate distribution of general Chapter correspondence Support communications to Chapter membership Oversee coordination of printed materials such as logo items and business cards Use PMI Chapter System and oversee Chapter IT functions Develop and implement succession and transition planning for the role

 I am excited to be considered for the role of Vice President of Marketing for the California Central Valley PMI chapter. As a project management professional with over a decade of experience across multiple industries, I have built a strong foundation in structured communication, stakeholder engagement, and delivering outcomes that are timely, clear, and high quality.


In my career, I have led complex initiatives requiring alignment across diverse teams, translating strategy into execution, and maintaining consistent communication at every level. These experiences have shaped my approach to marketing as a disciplined, project-driven function meant to focus on delivering the right message to the right audience at the right time, with clarity and purpose.


If elected, I will bring this same mindset to our chapter’s marketing efforts by strengthening communication channels, improving the consistency and accessibility of member messaging, and ensuring our events and resources are effectively promoted. I am passionate about applying project management principles to enhance engagement, improve planning and execution, and ultimately help our members feel informed, connected, and supported. Description
The Vice President of Membership is an elected volunteer responsible for serving the needs of Chapter members and supporting continued membership growth through proactive recruiting, retention, and engagement. This role oversees the Chapter membership plan, recruitment and retention goals, membership reporting, member support activities, and volunteer recruitment support through PMI tools. The VP of Membership helps strengthen the member experience and provides the Board with membership insights for planning and decision-making.
 
Duties
Develop and implement an annual Chapter Membership Plan Establish and monitor membership recruitment and retention goals and metrics Develop and implement community outreach plans to support membership growth Respond to member and non-member inquiries about membership and benefits Support and attend annual general meetings and Chapter meetings as appropriate Use PMI ThoughtSpot for membership analysis and reporting Use the PMI Volunteer Engagement Platform for volunteer recruitment support Oversee maintenance of Chapter membership records Provide member list and communication updates to officers as requested Produce and distribute membership reports and demographic insights Conduct market research on membership growth opportunities Review member satisfaction and lapsed member survey results Integrate survey feedback into strategic and operational planning Oversee membership welcome, support, and recognition programs Appoint and manage directors or coordinators supporting membership functions
