Many of the disagreements that escalate into conflict often result from misunderstandings and miscommunications. This session will examine some of the typical causes and various approaches to managing conflict on a project.

Learning Objectives:

1. Understanding potential causes of conflict.

2. How personality plays into conflict.

3 How to interact with servant leadership in the project team.

4. Evaluate competing priorities and resource constraints using simple portfolio-level tools and techniques.

5. Understanding the importance of active listening and effective communication.

About Steve Blash

Steve is a highly accomplished and experienced project management consultant, as well as a PMI authorized training partner and trainer, with exceptional experience in business, IT software development, and IT infrastructure.
